Horace:

Hi everyone, I’m Horace from Player Gamer Magazine. Today I’m interviewing Jarediah from 80n Game Studios. How are you doing today, Jared?

Jarediah:

I’m a little nervous, but hello.

Horace:

So, how’d you get into the game industry?

Jarediah:

Well, we have a couple of computers down here, so we downloaded the GameBuilder program and started making games.

Horace:

Have you ever worked for any other game companies before?

Jarediah:

No, but I keep applying every week. I never hear back.

Horace:

Wait, you’re actively trying to get into other game companies? What about the projects you’re working on?

Jarediah:

Eh, if I get hired somewhere else I won’t care about anything we’re doing now.

Horace:

What makes you feel that way? How could it be so easy to ditch your babies here at 80n Game Studios?

Jarediah:

Well, I’d be getting an actual paycheck.

Horace:

You’re not getting paid now?

Jarediah:

Oh! (laughs) Of course not. Who would pay us? We haven’t made a single dollar off of any of our games.

Horace:

Do you advertise your games? How is your marketing division?

Jarediah:

We don’t have one, but we put flyers all over town. Didn’t help.

Horace:

Well, that’s unfortunate.

Jarediah:

Not really. To be honest, our games are really bad and not worthy of being covered by Player Gamer Magazine.

Horace:
